Volunteer

Lots of ways to volunteer and get involved

Volunteering with AMTA Utah Chapter events is a rewarding way for members to give back to the massage therapy community while building valuable connections and skills. Volunteers have the opportunity to assist with organizing and running educational workshops, community outreach programs, and networking events, helping to create meaningful experiences for fellow massage therapists and the public. Through volunteering, members can strengthen their leadership abilities, stay informed about industry trends, and contribute to the chapter’s mission of advancing the profession. It’s also a chance to meet like-minded professionals, share knowledge, and make a positive impact on the local massage therapy community.

Elections

AMTA-Utah Chapter wants YOU to be part of the team!

The AMTA Utah Chapter encourages its members to actively participate in shaping the future of the organization by running for elected positions during chapter elections. These elections, held every two years, offer roles such as President, Secretary, Financial Administrator, and Board Members, each serving a two-year term. Engaging in these leadership positions allows members to influence chapter initiatives, contribute to the advancement of the massage therapy profession in Utah, and develop valuable leadership skills. Members interested in these opportunities are encouraged to review position descriptions and eligibility requirements, and to reach out to the chapter’s Elections Administrator for more information on the nomination process.

Education

Lots of ways to volunteer and get involved

The AMTA Utah Chapter offers a variety of continuing education opportunities designed to help massage therapists enhance their skills, stay current with industry trends, and meet licensing requirements. Through workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions, members can learn new techniques, explore specialized modalities, and deepen their understanding of the science behind massage therapy. These events are led by experienced instructors and provide valuable networking opportunities with fellow professionals. Participating in continuing education helps therapists maintain a competitive edge, improve client outcomes, and grow their practice.
